I booked a trip for my husband on Southern China airline. He traveled from Belize to Lax, then on to Canton. NO PROBLEM.Upon check-in at Canton airport on day of Departure he was told that he had a child ticket.We have all our paper work which states 1 adult- 1 senior citizen. Travel agent said the price is the same for all.
They held a 71yr old man at the counter and made him and friend buy a new ticket each. The had guards standing ready to arrest them..They had no choice but to buy another ticket. DO NOT USE CHINA SOUTHERN AIRLINE. We have traveled with other airlines and NEVER had a problem till now.Shame on SOUTHERN CHINA AIRLINE> My husband wanted to see CHINA after 31yrs of not being home.. We will not use this airline again after this kind of treatment.

my husband have 2 way ticket at the same time the first trip coming here in philipines from germany is not many problem even the stop over is more than 10 hours,but now my husband start flight go back to germany from monday until now still in the airport wait with nothing food an nothing jacket and they have nothing room where sleep for free this is not my husband fault this is the airlines problem for flight thats why he coming late for next flight look from manila to guangzhou,guangzhou to amsterdam what is the ticket indicate here in the flight details but i wondering why from guangzhou stop over to peging this is not right what they make thats why my husband late for the next flight from amsterdam to berlin….im s really upset what is my husband situation flight in China airlines he not travel for only 1 hour and now he need wait again mre than 10 hours with no bagage they can change clothes and even can toothbrush is no more whats going on this is really can dissapointed for clients not only in my husband is always travel go home and get flight in any airlines he nothing problem only this airlines SOUTHERN CHINA AIRLINES….so i just wanted to let you know this is not right what are now happened….
my husband still waiting at amsterdam airport the next flight to berlin at supposed to be at this time travel straight to berlin but he need wait from 20.30 until tomorrow morning at 10am with nothing food and nothing room where he can stay for free. Really bad experience for my husband this flight in this airlines….

Simply put this Airline China Southeern is the absolute worst Airline in hte World. They lost our luggage. Then we find out it never got on our flight. No one in the different terminals wasnts to help. I have been waiting for 21 Days for my Lost luggage to arrive at my final destination and now they tell me that they will only reimburse me a total of $600.00USD for a 50 Pound luggage that had suits in it which cost that much. This airline DID ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING to find or forward my missing luggage. They Have completly ruined my vacation. I asked for at least a complementary upgrade for my return trip and they offered me the 1st. row of coach. WHAT A JOKE!!!! Never again will I fly such a pathetic example of an airline with such horrible customer service. PLease DO NOT fly on China Southern.

I travel professionally. I do at least 10 international round trips per year and have been doing so for the past decade. I have flown on 20 different airlines to more than 50 countries. I have NEVER had to even find a site to gripe—but hear me—the voice of an experienced traveler—CHINA SOUTHERN IS THE ABSOLUTE WORSE FOR INDIFFERENT CUSTOMER SERVICE, CHEAP TRICKS, AND ALL AROUND POOR SERVICE. To document the indignities would take too much space. This is not a grip anecdote. This is a collective yell from over 100 persons at Hong Kong Airport…where our troubles began with what would have been a routine and normal cancellation. That we accepted. The manner in which it was done, the subsequent lies, convolution, hand picking of certain passengers from certain cultures for assistance by the staff, failure to provide any amenities, and then failure to confirm our connecting flights after lying to us that they had all add up to this assessment. Gets worse. It was not just at one stop. They lied, behaved the same indifferent way and so I am stuck here.

NEVER FLY CHINA SOUTHERN.MY EXPERINCE DATE TO 7/4/13 HAD A TICKET TO FLY OUT OF KL AIRPORT TO GUANGZHOU WITH 2 HOURS TRANSIT TO AUCKLAND WHICH TURN OUT 12 HOUR TRANSIT LUCKLY A DAY BEFORE I WENT TO CHINA SOUTHERN OFFICE TO CONFIRM IN KL ITS WHEN I CAME TO KNEW ALL 18.00HR FLIGHT OUT OFF KL HAS BEEN CANCELLED WITH OUT NOTIFICATION TO PASSENGERS ONLY CHOSE CATCH THE 9.30AM FLIGHT NEXT DAY WE WERE TOLD WE WOULD GET ACCOMODATION BUT YOU NEED VISA FOR CHINA.SO WE SPENT 12 HOURS IN THE AIRPORT NO VOUCHERS NO CURRENCY
SO PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU BUY FROM CHINA SOUTHERN,

I am on Flight CZ3571 GZ to SH on the new boing 787. Nice plane on the outside, but I am sitting in row 52 seat G & have no room for my knees. I have never experienced such cramped conditions. I am an avg. size 6’2 for a westerner and am very uncomfortable.
I thought o well I will stick it out for a short flight, but just learned it will be another 1.5 hr delay…

I recently flew from India to Canton to LAX. I must say that, although the crew was polite and relatively efficient, I was very disappointed. I was in next to the last row of the plane but was given no choice as to meals and received not even a glass of wine, being told there was none left. Actually, a fellow passenger said he noted many bottle of unopened wine in the front portion of the plane.
If you know that you have a full plane, it seems to me that you should be fully supplied to serve ALL customers the same.

I am sitting in the lounge at Pudong, I was booked & checked in for a flight to Shenzhen leaving at 5.25.
I have been sitting here since 3.30 pm it is now 10.15pm.
No information girls in lounge giggle when you ask when when the flight will be leaving. I asked to see a manager they just said there wasn’t one. This is without a doubt the worst airline experience I have ever had, their idea of service & customer experience is just non existant.

My husband and I flew from Los Angeles on China Southern flight CZ 0328 on May 19th 2015 to Kuala Lumpur.
We were in business class. The service was very disappointing. The attendants were indifferent and robot-like with no smiles or any kind of interaction with the passengers. When we asked for water, they acted like it was too much work for them and refilled our water bottles that were already kept by our seats and filled them from a bigger water bottle and just went away. we also complained that there was no hand soap in any of the bathrooms which we told twice that we need soap. there was also no toilet seat covers upon take off of flight. just before landing in Guangzhou, there was no toilet paper and I managed with the

My wife and I flew from LAX on flight CZ 0328 in Business Class to Kuala Lumpur and there was no hand soap in any of the lavatories. We also had to ask for toilet seat covers and there was no toilet paper before landing in Guangzhou. Service was very poor and the attendants were indifferent and robot-like with no expressions or responsiveness. This was the first we are using China Southern and we dread our return flight back to Los Angeles. We have been flying business class on other airlines and have never experience such poor service.

I took the flight from Vietnam to Guangzhou, The airport at Vietnam dis the check in for me for 02 flights (CZ374 & CZ3886), I have 01 big luggage have tag number: CZ789653, another is hand luggage with no tag.
When I check in to Guangzhou, do the immigration, then go to Domestic Transfer, I don’t need to do check in again. Around 20:00-20:15PM, I asked a girl staff and she told me put my 02 luggage on the rubber line to check. I did ask her that is my hand luggage with my laptop, she said it’s ok and you can receive it by another gate.
After go out, I didn’t see it. I go to Gate B209 to catch the flight to Yiwu
Then the flight delay till 22:40, I decide to go down to Police service, they help me to check camera to that’s why I have exactly timing for check in time in Domestic Transfer Port.
The police said it’s ok when the luggage come into safety zone, just come back with your flight.
I come back and the flight delay till 0:10 AM (01/09), when I arrived to Yiwu there was no hand luggage. I did make the report form, waiting for information but no result, no answer
My luggage doesn’t have tag, just have red ribbon to mark as my luggage.

The worst airline I ever experience. Don’t even think about flying with them because you think it’s cheap. All the hussle you have to go through if problem happens doesn’t worth at all. We flew business and it was delayed our baggage were not arrive after 6 days of waiting! We have to buy everything new in US with our own money, which is not our fault, and the airline shows no responsibility at all! There customer service is very poor and very hard to reach too. Very bad airline. I will definitely never use their service anymore
